Questions

How do I find equipment rental near me?

Type a city, state or ZIP code above or tap "Use my location". Each city page lets you filter by construction equipment, tool rental, lifts and forklifts, dumpsters, party rental and dealers.

Do rental companies pay to be listed or ranked here?

No. Every listing is free and comes from OpenStreetMap, the open map anyone can edit. Nobody can pay for a higher position, and we never sell your contact details: you call the rental yard or dealer directly.

Is it cheaper to rent equipment by the week?

Usually, yes. As a rule of thumb a weekly rate costs about three to four daily rates, and a 4-week rate about three weekly rates. Our rental rate checker finds the cheapest mix of day, week and 4-week rates for your dates.

Should I rent or buy equipment?

Rent when you need a machine for a few days or weeks a year; buy when it would be busy most working weeks. A common rule of thumb says buying starts to pay above roughly 60–70% utilization. Try the rent vs buy calculator with your own prices.
