About & How We Get Our Data
equipment.broker is a free directory of U.S. equipment rental yards, tool rental shops, lift and forklift companies, dumpster haulers, party rental companies and equipment dealers, with free rent-vs-buy and rental-rate tools. It is run by Cute and Honey LLC, Houston, Texas. We are not a rental company or dealer and we do not broker rentals.
How We Are Different
- No pay-to-rank. Every listing is free and shown in the same way. Companies cannot buy a higher position or a badge.
- No sold leads. We do not ask for your phone number or email, and we never sell contact details. You contact companies directly.
- No invented reviews, ratings or prices. We only show facts from public data; tools use the numbers you enter.
- Free tools without sign-up. The calculators run in your browser.
The site is supported by display advertising, which is clearly separate from the listings.
Where the Listings Come from
- Businesses (1,957): OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, Open Database License). We include U.S. places tagged as tool hire, equipment rental, tractor or machinery shops, and businesses whose names clearly say equipment rental, tool rental, forklift, aerial lift, crane, dumpster, roll-off, portable toilet, party or tent rental, or a major equipment brand dealer. Truck and moving-van rental, car rental and boat or bike rental are left out.
- Equipment types are assigned from the map tags and the business name, so a business may offer more than we show. Many rental yards also sell, and many dealers also rent; ask.
- City names come from the address on the map or, if missing, the nearest U.S. Census Bureau 2024 Gazetteer place.
- Last refreshed: November 5, 2026. We plan to refresh every three months.
Which Pages Google Sees
Listing pages with fewer than two contact facts (phone, website, street address, hours or a description), and very small city pages, are kept out of search (noindex) until the map has more detail. They are still reachable here.
Prices and Rules of Thumb
We do not publish price tables we cannot verify. Where a guide uses a rule of thumb (for example, a week costing about three to four daily rates), it is labeled as one. Official rules (OSHA, 811) link to the official source.
